Here at Bearwalden CrossFit we don’t believe in starting a New Year / New You campaign – like you are going to magically have new commitment to change, raring to get up and go on the first of January.
It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, don’t let the name of the month dictate your motivation levels. If you think January will bring some new magically motivated you, you might be telling yourself the same lies you tell yourself every year.
This December we are offering all Bootcamps for free (*if you are a new customer and sign up for all Bootcamps in January) making a massive saving of £80!

Our Bootcamps are centered around the community attending the gym, the sense of community at CrossFit Bearwalden is unique. Many CrossFit members join in on the Bootcamps as they are entirely scalable for every level of fitness. Everyone knows one another and are always on hand to welcome newbies, there is always someone to help with technique and push you through a workout.
There is a crossover from the functional movements involved in CrossFit (leaving out some of the more technical lifting) – So Bearwalden Bootcamp can be a perfect stepping stone before starting a CrossFit Foundation Course, get to know everyone, see what you can achieve and progress towards achievable goals.
Over the last year one by one our whole family has joined Bearwalden CrossFit, including our two girls aged 11 and 13. All the coaches – Sam, Barny, Mark and Will – are fab mentors who are focused on helping the individual progress at their own pace and to achieve their own goals. My husband and I were both gym goers before we started and having experienced CrossFit & Bootcamps and the community and camaraderie that Sam at Bearwalden has created, we will never go back to just a normal gym.
Should I get fit before coming?
No, no and NO! Bootcamps at Bearwalden are for everyone, they can be as challenging as you make them, they are entirely scaleable. They suit the fittest of athletes down to complete beginners wanting to get off the couch (and get their shit together!). The crux of the matter is do you want to be a better you in all aspects of your life? Yes? We can start you off with achievable goals, whether you want to start on your fitness journey, improve yourself for another sport, like running, rowing or cycling, or even just showing up to class.
Getting ready, getting to the gym and walking through the door, making it go ‘beep beep’ is an achievement right there. What you get done in the box at Bootcamp or CrossFit is the icing on the cake of getting you’re shit together in the first place…
